We’re New York food people, wine people, and we have a problem with waste. So when we saw perfectly good wines being tasted and left unfinished, we saw an opportunity. These are notable reds—cultured wines that deserve a second life. And that’s exactly what we’re giving them.
With Wasted, we partner with the best in the wine world to create something new: a red wine vinegar with all the richness and depth of the original wine. This isn’t vinegar made from mass-produced filler. It’s a refined taste experience, crafted from fine wines that would otherwise go untapped.
What Makes Wasted Different
We use Fine Wine: Our vinegar starts with vintage reds, bringing flavor and quality you can taste. We partner with sommeliers from NYC fine-dining restaurants to get access to wine that would otherwise be discarded.
Sustainable by Design: Every bottle we save reduces waste in the wine world.
Batched in Brooklyn: Each bottle is crafted in small batches, right here in Brooklyn, with big plans to grow as we bring on new partners.
